Willa Cather, O Pioneers!
Palmera’s Awesome Peeps goes to Nasugbu!
Yeah, that’s the name of our barkada hahaha. Anyways, we’ve been planning for an out of town trip for so long and we finally pushed through! We had no idea where the resort was. So we relied mostly by articles in the internet on how to get to Nasugbu and well, google maps. We stayed for a night at Acaia Beach Resort which is kind of misleading because they weren’t situate beside the beach. They were on the other side and you would have to walk to the public beach. They had a pool though. But still, they should omit the “beach” part in their name. Plus, we were the only residents there! hahaha it was as if the place was privately rented.
We rented a boat to go to this unnamed cove with white sand. And we swam there for the rest of the afternoon. After that we had dinner in a local shop. And then went back to our resort where we drank and swam again! There was a live band too! The next day we went back to the beach for some horse-back riding and some henna!
Our trip went better than expected. And I had a great time because although I didn’t know how to swim, I didn’t really feel left out and stupid. I just enjoyed my time in the water. Now we’re planning to go farther in our next trip! And I just can’t wait!
